Terms & Conditions

  1. GENERAL

    a) These Terms and Conditions govern all business transactions with Image Quest Group Ltd, trading as IQ Branding Solutions ("IQ"). Any individual or organisation placing an order with IQ ("the Client") agrees to these terms in full.

    b) These terms apply to all goods supplied and services provided by IQ, including design, print, production, and installation of signage and branding materials.

    c) By confirming an order with IQ, the Client acknowledges it fully understands, and it accepts these Terms and Conditions. IQ reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice to the Client.

  2. ORDERING AND PAYMENT

    a) All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT and outlays unless otherwise specified.

    b) New Clients are required to pay 100% of the order value at the time of written confirmation. This applies to the first three orders placed.

    c) After three successfully paid upfront orders, Clients may apply for a credit account. If the application is approved, they will be considered repeat customers and invoiced on 30-day payment terms from the date of invoice.

    d) For large-scale projects, IQ reserves the right to request staged payments. In such cases, specific payment schedules will be outlined in the project quotation.

    e) Repeat customers are required to pay a deposit on projects valued at over EUR 10,000.

    f) Orders will only proceed upon receipt of written confirmation from the Client. This can be in the form of email or signed approval.

    g) If a Client cancels an order after confirmation, IQ is entitled to recover all costs incurred up to that point.

    h) Quotations provided by IQ are based on the Client’s stated requirements and form the basis of all work undertaken.

    i) If payment is not received within the agreed timeframe, IQ Branding Solutions reserves the right to remove any signage that has been installed as part of the unpaid order.

    j) The Client remains fully liable for all costs incurred by IQ in the production, installation, and removal of the signage.

    k) Any removal fees will be communicated in advance and will be added to the outstanding balance.

  3. ARTWORK

    a) Clients must supply artwork in line with IQ’s artwork specifications (available on our website or upon request). Non-compliant files may result in price adjustments or delivery delays. The written quotation (as provided to the Client) is always taken as the interpretation of the Client’s instructions.

    b) Where IQ is required to modify Client-supplied artwork, a charge of EUR 75.00/hour will apply.

    c) Copyright in all artistic and literary works created by IQ shall remain the property of IQ unless there is specific agreement to the contrary at the time of acceptance of an order.

    d) The Client hereby warrants to IQ that the Client has copyright in or license to authorise IQ to reproduce all artistic and literary works supplied by the Client to IQ for the purpose of the order.

    e) The Clients shall indemnify and hold IQ harmless from and against all claims, demands, liabilities and expenses, including (without limitation) claims of infringement of patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right, or any other matter, arising from the use of any picture, plate, advertising copy, specifications or material furnished to IQ by the Client or prepared by IQ at Client's request, including reasonable attorney's fees with court costs.

    f) Clients are licensed to use artwork created by IQ for signage purposes only. Editable/source files may be supplied on request for an additional fee.

    g) Artwork is retained for 12 months. After this, it is archived and may still be accessed for up to 5 years before permanent deletion.

    h) Shared download links usually remain active for up to 30 days.

  4. PRODUCTION & INSTALLATION

    a) Production sizes may vary by +/-10%. IQ will confirm final measurements prior to production.

    b) Installation pricing is based on standard weekday working hours. Surcharges apply for work requested outside these hours.

    c) Clients must ensure access is available to the site at the agreed installation time. Failure to provide access may incur charges of EUR 65 (Dublin) or EUR 150 (outside Dublin).

    d) Clients authorise IQ to create fixing points (e.g. drill holes) as required for installation. While all care is taken, IQ is not liable whatsoever or howsoever arising for minor cosmetic damage resulting from standard installation practices.

  5. INSURANCE

    a) IQ maintains all necessary insurance for signage installation, including height-access cover.

  6. LIABILITY & INDEMNITY

    a) IQ accepts no liability whatsoever for any issues, actions, losses, expenses, costs, demands, damages or other liabilities, howsoever arising from signage that is installed by the Client or a third party.

    b) Risk and ownership for the signage transfer to the Client upon delivery or installation.

    c) Any defects identified within 48 hours of installation will be remedied free of charge. After this period, repairs may be chargeable.

    d) Routine safety inspections of installed signage remain the responsibility of the property owner. IQ can provide inspections on request for an agreed fee.

    e) Removal or repair of signage is available upon written request. Clients will be advised in advance if charges apply.

    f) Signage removed by IQ will be disposed of responsibly. The Client relinquishes ownership at the time of removal.

    g) Clients are responsible for obtaining all planning permissions, consents or permits relevant for the installation of the signage. IQ will not be held liable for any related penalties, actions, losses, expenses, costs, claims, demands and/or damages, whatsoever.

    h) Clients must ensure permission is obtained from all relevant property owners for signage placement and installation and allow IQ access as required. IQ reserves the right to recover costs incurred due to failed access.

  7. DATA PROTECTION & GDPR COMPLIANCE

    a) IQ complies with all applicable data protection legislation including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

    b) Client information is collected solely for the purposes of fulfilling orders and maintaining business relationships.

    c) IQ’s Privacy Policy is available on our website and outlines full details of how we collect, store, and manage personal data.

    d) Data including contact details, order history, and digital artwork files are stored securely. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only. Clients’ data will only be processed in accordance with GDPR and/or for the purposes for which it was furnished to us in that for the purposes of completing the clients instructions / service.

  8. ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

    a) While IQ does not currently have a formal sustainability policy, we commit to responsible sourcing and recycling of materials where possible.

    b) Removed signage and leftover materials are disposed of through approved recycling channels wherever feasible.

  9. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

    a) These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.

    b) In the unlikely event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek resolution amicably. If necessary, legal proceedings will be pursued under Irish jurisdiction.

  10. CHANGES TO TERMS

    a) IQ reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time, and/or to agree terms relevant to a specific purpose or instruction (as appropriate). Although every effort will be made to inform its Clients, the above Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time and IQ takes no responsibility for any difficulties which may arise to any third party resulting from changes to the above.

    b) Special terms may be issued for custom or non-standard work. Where conflicts exist, the special terms take precedence.
