Newbridge Credit Union got a make-over.
Newbridge Credit Union has recently unveiled it’s new look and we have to say, it’s very sharp indeed.
Barry Lyons of Kruger Lyons Architects was the man in charge and the inspiration behind the design. Isa Bella at iQ managed the project from our end. iQ Branding Solutions was charged with printing and installing the image walls, the window manifestations, wayfinding signage, LED window displays, lightbox projecting sign on the exterior and the fascia lettering.
We asked Isa Bella to tell us what she thought was the three most interesting aspects of the design.
Her favourite is the two picture walls. They were also the most challenging to implement. The first is 3.2m x 3.2 m and the second is 5m x 1.4m. The pictures were carefully selected from the clients image library to create a collage to fit the space. Each printed image is attached to 10mm white acrylic. The acrylic is then fixed to the wall with stand-off fixtures.
Her second favourite feature is the wayfinding signage. They are made of fret cut acrylic backed with yellow foamed to create a 3D effect on the arrows. We all agree that the photo doesn’t do the signs justice at all.
Her third favourite feature is the textured wall paper, which we digitally printed. We also butt joined each sheet when installing to ensure a smooth, enhanced finish. Not easy, but well worth it.
