iQ Branding Solutions at The Shard Building, London.

iQ is honoured to be asked to design and manufacture a new sign for the Shard Building in London – probably one of London’s most iconic architecturally-built buildings over the last decade.

Our Client – Exela Technologies – has just moved into their new offices in the Shard Building, and of course they wanted something very special for the main entrance foyer – to announce the Exela brand-name at their new London HQ offices.

For this project, iQ designed a beautiful 3D-Lettering sign of the client’s logo. We then manufactured this in 20mm clear acrylic, and backed the rear-side of the acrylic with black vinyl material – so that the polished-look to the face of the letters is maintained. For the letter “x”, iQ created a split-level effect, using a light blue overlapping vinyl, lapping into the black seamlessly. To complete the look, iQ finished-off all letters by flame-polishing the edges of all the letters post production – this gives a very rich shine to both the face and the side of the letters.

This is the third such sign iQ has manufactured/supplied to this client. We also produced and installed similar signage at their offices in Dublin and Stockholm, Sweden.
